OUR STORY

1990

MTS was established in Izmir to provide ship chartering and agency services.

1995

MTS Forwarding was established and the headquarters moved to Istanbul.

1998

Offices were opened in Mersin and Ankara.

2000

MTS Logistics Inc. was established, and the New York office was opened.

2001

Airfreight department was opened.

2002

The Bursa office was opened.

2004

MTS Logistics Inc. received ISO 9001:2000 certification.

2006

The Los Angeles office was opened

2010

MTS exceeded the 100,000 TEU mark worldwide.

2012

Bulk cargo containerization department was established.

2014

MTS became a leading forwarder in mineral transportation in Turkey and reached an annual business volume of 152,000 TEUs globally

2015

MTS introduced the SILOTAINER™ transport system, developed especially for bulk minerals and chemicals in powder and granular form

2018

The bulk containerization business volume with the Silotainer system surpassed 250,000 tons annually.

2020

MTS exceeded 200,000 TEUs in container business volume worldwide

2021

Annual bulk containerized cargo volume exceeded 600,000 tons.

2022

The Dubai office was opened.
